Mir 1B "Grand Prix Brussels" 37mm f2.8 lens

I saw this effect on Flickr months ago and waited for the Christmas lights to give it a try. The photographer just reversed the front element of the Mir1 to create the unusual bokeh.

It's not quite "art," but the first effort with a new acquisition...

Helios 44-2 @ f2.8. Processed from RAW; probably a 50% crop. Adjusted for WB and exposure in PSE

This is my first post to this thread.

The below samples were shot using my EM-10 Mark II, along with a Fujian 25mm f1.4 c-mount (first 3 shots - some slight vignetting can be noticed), Jupiter-9 8.5cm f2 (fourth and fifth shots) and Helios 103 53mm f1.8 (sixth, seventh and eigth shots). The last one is a cropped (TC enabled) shot taken with a Cosmicar 8.5mm f1.5 c-mount.

Shot with an 100+ year old lens from my grandfather's 1917 No. 1A Autographic Kodak Special folding camera adapted to my GX7. It was my mother's father's camera, shown below is Mom and Dad and my two kids.

Great first post -- what's the story with the shoes? Seems too chilly for folks to go wading?
Thanks.

This place with the shoes is in Budapest next to Danube river, and from what I read it is a memorial created by a movie director and a sculptor to symbolize the place where jews were shot dead and thrown to the river by an arrowcross militiamen during WWII.

Samyang 35mm 1.4 @f=5.6 - This is a big lens (my copy is EF mount) - and it is a lot easier to use on the E-M1 (compared to the E-PL7) - but the IQ is fantastic.

I have a version of this image where I cropped it to almost square to eliminate the diagonal beam at the top, but I decided I liked the bokeh in the background in this version. Thoughts?

if wanted, diagonal beam can be easily cloned out with "content aware" tool in Photoshop (or similar software)

Despite not being very sharp and not having any aperture control, every so often I like to use this refitted projection lens for the dreamy effect it can give me. The bokeh suits the theme but of course it's an awful lens if documentation would be my goal where sharpness is king.
Projection lens Aldis 8.5cm f2.5 (on Micro 4/3)
