Did a little 2 hour walk-around in downtown Chicago this past weekend. As usual, my eye was drawn to grime, graf, and the out of place. I started out above ground, and later went underground.

Comments and criticism are most welcome!

For those interested, all were shot in RAW with my EPL1 + 20mm. PP done in LR3.

Thanks in advance for checking them out!

I like the last one becuase if you use your imagination and look at the pipe caps, it looks like train wheels and the cracks would be the outline of the engine

Great eye. Nicely rendered. 1, 4, and 13 grabbed me. Really liked 2 as well, but felt the vibrancy was a little over the top for my taste.

    Thanks for sharing!

    Fantastic!

These shots of my city are just remarkable! #1 is my favorite as well. I can almost FEEL the rust of the chain in my hand. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you everyone for your responses! It's very interesting to learn about your favorites - everyone seems to have different opinions, but the first one seems to stand out more than the others. It's interesting - that's also literally the first shot I took on that walkaround.

I didn't notice that before! I can definitely see the smoke stack on the left side, and the shape is like a child's rough rendering of a steam engine.

Looking at 2 again, I actually agree. I'm going to go back and see what I did with that. I actually remember being quite surprised at the "pop" in the picture straight out of the camera - sometimes the Panny 20mm does that!

    Thanks for the specific feedback!
