Today my wife and I went for stroll through Lakeview Cemetery that is minutes from our house. It spans over 780 acres and has a deep history. I brought along the Panny GX85, Oly 12-40m, Panny 7-14, and Panny 100-300mm for fun.

The cemetery is best known for the James Garfield Monument, burial site of 20th US president who was assassinated. In warmer months visitors can go inside and visit.

Alan Freed, who coined the phrase "Rock and Roll" during his career as a radio DJ, is also buried here in "jukebox" style.

Interestingly, the cemetery happens to be the secret headquarters for SHIELD, as the dam in the middle of the cemetery was used for filming part of the Captain American: The Winter Soldier movie (note Garfield monument in background)
