All taken with GF1 and P14, dynamic B/W mode
Nice b/w and composition
Love the spiral steps and pizza tunnel.
I was wrong, the one with the tattoo sign was taken with the 45mm
Very nice! Perfect use of Black and White. I don't know why new Panasonic cameras don't have that mode.
btw, was pizza always popular in Croatia because it's close to Italy? or is it something new?
Nice to see more croatians here
Great B+Ws. The lighting on the stairs is wonderful.
Just great pics !!
Nice set Mrkva, I'll echo others sentiments here and agree that the stairwell shot is excellent. That dynamic b+w mode on the GF1 is fantastic, one of the best in-camera filters/modes I've seen to date. I wonder...do the newer GF cameras have that mode ?
It's nice to see some of Zagreb too, I've passed through many times on my way to visit extended family...36 years ago my family (then only myself as a 2 yr old and my parents) left Livno and immigrated to Australia. I try go back every 4 or 5 years to catch up with uncles and grandparents, all of whom remained in Croatia.
Very, very nice. You put the essentials in the frame and left inessentials out . Beautiful composition and processing in b&w.
I have no idea about the popularity of pizza, but thanks!
I don't think newer cameras have that filter. It really is the best one I've seen. I'm keeping the GF1 just for that, even when I upgrade the body.
Your story is sad and happy at the same time - you had to go, but the situation in the country still isn't good and I think you have a better life in Australia
Thanks again to everyone
Found a beautiful staircase with my friend
Very good job with the B&W!
#4 is my fav in the first set ... love the entire second set.
These are magnificent. You really know how to shoot and see with a 28mm equivalent. I've just started getting into the focal length, but I hope I can muster photos half as good as these. Thanks for sharing.
