    Hi guys,

Anyone from Australia bought from BHphoto recently?

Just curious to what postage you used and what delivery times were like.

(I know they are independent of the supplier but i'm trying to gauge whether the USPS International Priority mail - cheapest option - is just slow or not!)

for the record, I've had an excellent experience with the UPS mail so far!

    thanks guys!

    Hi Kosta,

I've used them 3 times. Delivery cost has been about $60 each time with "UPS Worldwide Saver" and delivery has always been within 5 business days.
Am planning on ordering some more kit soon, and will continue with same method. Can recommend....

    Hmmm..that's a worry.

Have you logged on and checked the tracking info on the order? This will tell you whether it has been shipped or not.....
    - Click on the track order link top right hand side after log in to BHPhoto
    - click on the order number, and this will display the summary - make sure the item is 'shipped'!
    - click on the "tracking" tab
    - then click on the tracking number for the VF-2 and this will take you to the UPS shipping tracking page.
    - click on show package progress.....

    Hopefully, all will be revealed.

unfortunately my postage didn't have tracking...(silly mistake on my part)
but, it did arrive today! *phew*
Just got a reply from B&H and told my brother about it, and then he texts me "your box from USPS literally just arrived!"
    lucky me!

    Thanks again Gary!

it's a shame local retailers have priced themselves out of the water - with shipping and conversion (hehe) included!

I'd rather spend the money locally but at the sort of difference that we are talking here...it's kind of hard to justify...

    Kosta,

    First post here.

Cannot say a bad word about BH. I ordered a GF1, 20mm 1.7, battery and EFV and exctly the same thing happened. Camera arrived within the week and the EFV took two. Don't worry. I found customer service great, just remember that they do not work on Saturdays, so sometimes there can be a delay.

Probably arrived by the time you read this anyway.
