    Hi all,

I'm ready to pull the trigger on my first Olympus 4/3 (previously was using a Panasonic GF5 and GH1) and am tracking a number of auctions online. Ideally I'd like the body only as I want to simply focus on using my Lumix 20mm prime but a few auctions list the E-M5 with the ED EZ 12-50mm Lens.

What's a decent price for a used E-M5 body only?
Should I bother with the ED EZ 12-50mm Lens?

Id say $650 with kit lens is a steal. You can usually sell the lens for about $150 and you net the body at $500, which is a smidge below market value (~$550).

Thanks! yeah, looks like (depending on condition, etc) that the body is still going for around the 550 range used

Try to get as many accessories as you can as well. Sometimes those things add up!

I wouldn't pay more then $500 for a used E-M5 at the moment. Expect it to drop even further after the rumoured EM-10 (or whatever its called) makes its way onto the market. But looking out there right now, it looks like there going for $550 body only. Give it short while and you will see them selling in the 400's as the norm and I expect the price will stabilize probably in the 400's too. M43 gear especially the bodies depreciate more than CaNikon.
