As all of you know , I am from Melbourne . I live near Dandenong ranges which is quite scenic and beautiful place for picnic and drive . There is a small place called OLINDA which is famous for antique shops and this PIE in the SKY Restaurant which offers delicious pies .If you happen to be in Melbourne , you must try .
Few shots to share . These are shot with Fuji X100

Great shots. I love the people conversing at the table. Nice candids.

I miss pies like that. We just don't have them in the USA unless you make them yourself (which isn't a bad thing, mind you).

I've promptly added Pie in the Sky to my "Food To Try" list with geographic coordinates, just in case I'm in Melbourne. I don't want to miss that.

Betty's Pies in Two Harbors, Minnesota, if you ever get up to the North Shore. If not, they ship everywhere. :)

    Great shots, Bhupinder!

Cool looking place. Why don't they pack it all up and move it to the east coast USA?

You may want to factor in a side trip to NZ - rumor has it that Aussies just don't do great pies ;-)

And remember "You must always blow on the pie . . . "

100% pure beef!? Where's the apple, cherry, spring berry, fall berries I guess you for the Aussies, and peach, lemon meringue pie!? This is not pie, if the pie can not take ice cream it is not pie!

Looking at the sweet to savoury pie award ratio in the antipodes we seem to give dessert pies short shrift - Supreme Pie Award 2012 -

    Bakels New Zealand, 2012 Results

I'm guessing its a similar situation in Aus.

There are lots of bakeries who sell Apple, Apricot and Lemon Meringue pies over here and sometimes Apple and Rhubarb. Peach and Berry pies aren't common.

However meat pies (or meat and sundry items) have the majority of the market.
