A pair of new Panasonic lenses spotted?

According to this Black Friday ad in my local paper, Panasonic are selling a couple of new zooms I haven't seen previously...

I could see that 25-32 appealing to those who would rather be shooting with a prime lens.

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times - 25-32mm is the perfect range. Ideally, it’s a fixed f/9 too.

I think there's a typo. Looking closely at the picture, the other lens appears to be a 45-050. Presumably this is also appealing as a prime.

I'll see about adding these to the wiki, along with the Panasonic 100-40.

I'm curious about the wi-fi mobil. Does Panasonic have a different model number for GX85s with this versus ones with wi-fi mobile?

It is but FWIW it was $500 for the GX85 with 12-32 and 45-150 before (!), for some months in 2020 in the very least and maybe before that?

The down side is that “Wi-Fi Mobil Control” only works at some gas stations.

Apparently typos are contagious.

It's not contagious, the kit just ships with a level zero telezoom feature. After you zoom between 45 and 50 enough times you start to unlock higher levels. Eventually the lens rolls over from 099 to 100 and you can continue through the next 50 levels before maxing out at level 150. This is why it's a 45-050 and not just a 45-50. I'm told the gradual process is very helpful to building long lens technique.

Unfortunately, this technology hasn't yet been perfected for making lenses wider. So the 25-32 stays a 25-32.
