Knowing that you northern folk will shortly be stealing our summer I went into the city last week to try catch the last of the remaining glow before its gone...soon enough Melbourne will assume a more sombre tone. Glad I took the time to do so as since then temperatures have dropped off, winds have picked up and just the other day I turned the heater on for the first time this year.

All shot with the E-M5 and the usual suspects, the PanaLeica 25 and the O75...mostly though I used the new Oly17 for kicks. There's even a Pana7-14mm in there somewhere.

Nice work, it certainly emotes "summer daze". It has a strong nostalgic feel. Now hurry up and send it north you have had it long enough.

Excellent PP! Very film-like, except that those look better than film!
Are those presets or did you tinker with curves and tone yourself? If the latter is true, hats off to your skill and taste.

The more quality work like yours I see from the new Oly 17mm, the more I think about getting rid of my 20mm in favor of that little gem. Do you happen to have experience with the 20?

Great set. As this morning was below freezing, it also looks like you'll be hanging on to summer a bit longer.

Hey we did our time with winter, now it's your turn. lol. Fantastic work as always Joe. For a while I was wondering if you still do photography. I kid I kid.

#4, 5, and 6 are my faves. Especially 4. I just love the position of the girls on bikes and how the shadows radiate outward and that wonderful light bathing everything in that scene. Good stuff man.

Thanks for spreading the love guys, appreciate the input.

Thanks mate. I used some VSCO presets here but tinkered quite a bit manually adjusting various setting. I also used some of the NiK plugins as well.
FYI....#2#4#5#6 and #7 were taken with the 17/1.8.
#1 was with the Pana7-14.....#3 was with the PL25....#8 & #9 were with the O75mm.

    Thanks Vin.
Oh man, I daydream about quitting work and travelling and taking photos. Ahhh....not enough hours in the day !

They're all equally wonderful. I can't even pick a favorite.
