Really nice shots Brian.....the Squirt Gun shot is wicked and the girl through the flowers is a gem too.

    Thanks for sharing.

Nice shots, thanks for sharing. Is your boy running triathlons? I noticed the number on his arm in the first shot and then the same number on his bike in the shot in the parking garage.

I also really like the squirt gun shot. I'd be nervous to take that one without the weather-sealed camera.

#4 is boss. I'm a sucker for light/dark diagonal composition. And bikes.

Thanks, I think it's already one of his favorites!

Thanks! He ran his 2nd triathlon this summer that morning. I wish there was triathlons for kids when I was his age (6). It was a 100m swim, 3 mile bike, & 1/2 mile run.

Thank you, I wasn't sure about this one at first but I really like the how the sun is shining in.

    Thank you!

    No 4 is good.

I would have increased DOF with smaller aperture, decreased shutter speed to darken the darks to emphasize the sunset as I exposed on the boy & bike. That would have made a classic "riding into the sunset" shot à la some of the John Ford westerns from the 50s.

    Thanks for sharing.
