    Orange eyed hopper, can be gone in the blink of an eye – mine. A family oriented fellow, usually some kids about.

    Caterpillar enjoying the flower buds of a sweet-potato vine. It definitely favoured this milky food.

    Sandpaper fig beetle, pregnant, and the three sisters know it. Parasitic wasps, I reckon, looking for opportunity to lay.

    Lynx spider, ambusher with no instinct for blending in. Those spikes would be piercing, entrapping any passing prey.

    Another great set Mark. :2thumbs: And here was I feeling a little pleased with myself for getting a photo of a Peacock Carpenter Bee (in flickr), but nothing like the detail you have here. :rolleyes:

    Good pictures, especially the spider one because of the lighting. Did you use uv light for that picture?

    Thanks TC... No, just the usual flash snooted and diffused. That's the colour of the butterfly bush and the spider, saturation boosted a little.
