Wow, Beautiful shots, I've put this on my countries to visit list. Have you applied some pp effects to images 2 and 3 or are those out of the camera? Either way, really loving them.

Beautiful shots! I love the colours..and people say Panasonic's jpegs aren't as nice and colourful. :)

Wish I were sitting on one of those beaches.

Thanks guys! I'm having fun shooting around, though I'm actually here for business and haven't been able to get out at all times. Can't wait to take some nice shots around golden hour at some point!

Still, I apologize for being unclear; these are not JPEGs; I only shoot RAW =P

Hahah frankly I don't really remember what the panny JPEGs are like, since I always knew I would be a RAW shooter before I ever picked up a digicam. I only get a vague sense from other peoples' pictures and my first couple of weeks with the camera. I really don't think they were that bad though, just heavy on the NR. Skin tones at night, however, were what made me want to change.

So yea, I shoot RAW, so what is considered "PP" varies. These all just went through my standard processing(which varies to different degrees from image to image). The reason 2 has those "flares" is because I was actually shooting from the window of a car.

Love that first shot - although perhaps going a little wider might have been better? And I love the beach shots, reminds me of home (I'm from the Philippines). Thanks for posting!

BTW - is it just me, or do some of the images seem a little too sharp?

Thanks! I wish I could have gone wider. I knew I'd miss having a wider angle lens when I went to the DR, but as of now my kit only really consists of the 20mm and 45mm. The cloud shot was with the 20mm, and it's uncropped except for aspect ratio. Unfortunately shooting clouds isn't a case where you can easily recompose by taking a few steps forward or back =P

Oh, and flickr automatically sharpens images, so maybe that's why =P I don't know what constitutes "too sharp" though =P

    Yeps, definitely did!
