The 40-150mm PRO lens has similar dimensions to a JBL Charge 2 so I thought I'd try a case designed for that speaker.
I thought this trick might come in handy for others too that want to protect this lens without taking up too much space.

It is rather tiny, for what it is. :)

The case is made of a 4mm thick and tough memory foam. There is about 1.5cm spare space at the end when the lens is inside so its not a perfect fit.
Of course its not going to do anything if you drop it but it should protect the lens from scratches and light bumps.
In my opinion, it is much better than the case Olympus provides :)

Would it fit with the hood attached?

Looks like a nice case for the lens, can you buy the case separately ?
If the case for this lens is anything like the one for the 12-40 pro just about anything would be better. I am still looking for a nice compact case for the 12-40 pro.

The OP hasn't been around in a few months...
    1. It looks to me like there's no room for the (large) hood
    2. Googling "JBL Charge 2 case" finds lots of options from $7

Personally, I have an old Le Mans film camera bag that fits very well, with or without the hood and TC...

Changing the search from "BL Charge 2" to "JBL Charge 2 case" did the trick.
I looked at the old Le Mans film camera bag from the other topic, looks nice so I will keep it book marked, but for what I would like now a little bit too bulky.
