A Big Wasp Macro

    (the title says it all)

    This wasp refused to leave my apartment despite all my efforts to aid him..so ultimately he had to die, but at least in death he was able to donate his body as a model.

    Shot with a G5 using an adapted 100mm f4 Minolta macro lens on bellows set-up, close to full extension on the 2nd shot. Nice working distance with the crop factor. Stopped down to 5.6 or f8 IIRC. Unfortunately forgot to take off the junky filter, not sure if it hurt the image quality. I'll have to practice with focus stacking given the tiny DoF with this type of macro.
