lens do not produce files with enough quality for 11x14 and 16x20 prints? Maybe a combo of available MP and lens. I decided to buy the 12-50 kit because I tried a friends and then tortured it by printing some of the images on our large format printers used by our geomatics and graphics sections. It delivered pinsharp prints of various sizes.

So would you not consider using standard kit and native zooms for commercial work? Are primes the only option?

It's a gamble that I'm not willing to take which is why I'm sticking to primes. I often crop to square which is fine when I have 40MP to play with but 16MP doesn't seem like a lot to me. As far as I understand the state of things, the only MFT zoom which is near a prime is the new 12-35 but even that isn't close.
