I currently use a 11-20-O45 kit. I seem to have become infatuated with the 75 though, and am thinking about selling my 45 & 75-300 (bought it for wildlife and it now sits mostly unused since I moved to the inner-city this past year) to buy one.

However, I'm worried it would be too long for everyday use in situations in which normal isn't long enough. So, has anyone used the 75mm as part of a three lens kit, or is it really just going to be appropriate as a supplement to what I currently use?

SS, I tend to agree that the 75 may be just a bit long for everyday use. I just got one and I absolutely love it, but it does offer a very narrow field of view. I've not taken it out in the field yet, so I may find myself eating my words, but at the moment, I am going to retain my Panny 20 f/1.7, Oly 45 f/18, Panny 14-140 and my Panny 100-300 (although I doubt I will be using the 14-140 much).

Hi, I suggest that you walk around with your tele-zoom fixed to 75mm, to find out if is too limiting or not.
In any case I would never sell the 45 only to get some lousy $ that you will cover only a fraction of the 75's price. These 200$ should be scrapped up in another way, I'd say.
But then, it your call of course.

On my 35mm pro gear for shooting weddings I do 98% with a 35, 85, and 150 (a 20 and 50 make up that other 2%). For this type of shooting I'm totally covered for everything I need, and on MFT it would mean a 17, 45, and 75.

I love my 45mm and don't think I will ever part with it even when if I get the 35-100mm. It's my go to lens. I am tempted by the 75mm as well but the convenience of the zoom 2.8 holds me back.

Anyway using your zoom locked at 75mm is a great test & idea.
