At last the challenge has come to an end.
There are some interesting and creative entries here. After looking these over for the last hour or so, I have noticed a few things.
It can be so tempting to crank up the saturation because it looks impressive while you are doing it (and it's so easy).
After going back and forth, I chose the winner.
#1st place Richard C
These colors are nice and would make a good print.
2nd place Whidbey LVR
nice colors as usual . Unknown about the skinny filter used on the beach goer.
3rd place goes to Kae 1
The colors are nice. This could have ranked higher but then I noticed the beachgoers shadow did not come with her after she was moved. Now she is looking at the sea snake coming towards her.
Others have also left the shadow when eliminating the woman. I liked this otherwise.
Honorable mention to Richard C for the homage to the local airport. The tour van took us by the beach where all the people wait for the planes to land .
Honorable mention to Fred S . I suggest the title of "Wishful thinking".
Thank you to all who participated!
Richard, over to you!
