It's been raining recently here, but I was able to get a few indoor shots, most near minimum focus distance. All at f0.95. Stay tuned for more.

I just didn't find this lens sharp enough for professional work at portrait distances wide open (it honestly seemed to have more detail up close). Here are a few more shots before I sent it back:

Perhaps not professional, but there's definitely that 'something' about the rendering of this lens.
There were definitely good elements to the rendering, and it was fun to work with. For half the price I think I would have kept it. I am sure plenty of clients wouldn't mind the softness. It's just so much softer than my other lenses I would hesitate to use it at many paid shoots.

Crikey, I was just getting a panty wad because I thought I made a mistake buying the Voightlander .95 looking at how sharp you got on a lot of those. I am not a paid photographer but would think a great % of clients would be pleased with your photo's. Of course an editor my be different.
I really think there're a lot of people whom prefer aesthetic's over technical. I am frustrated with my lens a lot but I paid $250 so it is fun to have the challenge in a non-professional sense. Tbh for the most part my wife doesn't care to much for the pics I like but...

Did you get the Voigtlander 25mm? Or 42.5?
