Wow! I guess I needed to provide a more challenging (i.e., evil) image. Everyone nailed this one. . . and left me in a real pickle in deciding the results. I'll try to correct this on my next opportunity. :laugh1:

Thank you all for your submissions. I appreciate your participation and the general excellence of your results.

There were great entries in both color and B&W. I found some slightly too dark and a few too light. One was a little greenish and a couple were pushed towards red/magenta. There was a range of variations in saturation. Ditto on sharpness and local contrast. Some of you battled the Moiré effect on the roof from down-scaling, and a few embraced it. Overall, mostly just nitpicks.

Results (and it was a photo finish):

Gold: @Kae1 color version

Silver: @Kae1 B&W version

Bronze: @Hendrik , either version (the only difference I could spot was in the rusty corrugated roof)

Other top finishers: @Robert Davidson #1, @Thai-Mike B&W, @Dinobe, @BosseBe color, @rpatodia #2, @Hendrik OOC B&W, @Zapp DJR #1.

My 2015 processing of this 2014 image is on Flickr (but I would undoubtedly do it differently today): https://flic.kr/p/yM1h4j
I have recently been playing a lot more with B&W conversions (pandemic puttering), so as a part of this challenge, I made a new B&W version:

As you are already using a EVIL camera (Electronic Viewfinder Interchangeable Lens), how can a picture become more EVIL? ;)
