Thank you for the mentions (and runner up position). It is great to read your comments on the judging of the entriesI offer a huge “Thank you” to everyone who entered. I was a bit afraid I might end up with a couple dozen images almost indistinguishable from each other, but you quickly laid those fears to rest. And all the images were good, as well, so I am down to selecting the few I liked best. This was a pleasure!
The B&W images were all well executed. My personal favorite was @frankmulder ’s entry.
There were a large number of false-color entries. Of those, my favorite was @Brodhall entry 1. Of the sub category of polyptych entries, I preferred the triptych by @RichardC.
In the art filter category, I liked the canvas work of Richard’s second entry and the embossed look of @Robert Davidson entry 2.
All of the “normal” processing variants were very good, but the one that most caught my attention was the simple close crop by Rose with the softer look — well done!
As far as I am concerned, you are all winners! But for the purposes of the challenge, my choices are. . .
Winner: @mcgillro #2
Runner-up: @Brodhall #1
2nd Runner-up: @frankmulder #2 B&W
Take it away, Rose!
