Entry #2. Re-worked my first try, while studying luminosity masks using Lumenzia (extremely powerful, but difficult to understand/master, even with the teaching videos).

And a very happy X-Mas to all of You, let's continue these competitions in a happy and friendly atmosphere!​

I have Lumenzia - I find Greg Benz's videos hard, but not impossible to follow.

I must have watched the one where he removes a tripod shadow from a block paved walkway about a dozen times - I sort of get it.

He likes to hide his marching ants. Whilst this removes a lot of clutter from the screen, it can make it difficult to see what he is doing.

Easier than Raya Pro though - which is bloated with buttons which seem to duplicate existing PS functionality.

The upgrade of the forum SW has introduced a new button when uploading a photo, it is called "Insert Thumbnail" and is separated from the "Insert Photo" button with a a very thin and hard to see line.
For me it seems there is only one button, but there are 2, the left most part is for the thumbnail and the right most part is for inserting the full picture.
So I think both @relic and @mcgillro has pressed to far left on the button.

This was taken on a winter afternoon in Stratford upon Avon (again!). Not much thought went into it - I noticed the brightly lit cloud, took a picture and it was gone soon after. Result is a cold scene, underexposed foreground with a nice blob of warm cloud in the middle.

As usual, some great entries. I think the scene relies too much on the sky and has rather too many components for monochrome - but I did like @mcgillro 's antique version.

1st place - @Hendrik - beating @frankmulder by a whisker/bill thanks to the added ducks. Apart from the extra wildlife, this version is pretty much how I remember it
