5mm micro adapter???

Hi,
I just found a seller that sells the fujian 35mm 1.7 with C-Mount to m43 adapter plus a "Micro 5mm adapter":

Does anyone know what's that micro 5mm adapter for? First time i see it.

Interesting. I think it's being sold as a macro adapter; a tiny 5mm extension tube to allow a closer minimum focus. I suppose it might also be useful for mounting those C-mount lenses with bulky back-ends, though you would likely lose infinity focus.

Hmmmm...sounds like an interesting idea. In any case, if i buy any of those lenses they are probably going to be used wide open and for "moody portraits", so i don't mind losing infinity focus at all...
