I was revisiting my lightroom library and came across these shots.
Two were made with a 5D and Sigma 50mm 1.4 and two were shot with the E-PL2 and Panasonic 20mm 1.7.
At the time I still didn't have the PL 25, so the Field of view is a bit different.
Both cameras on Auto White Balance. Both with equivalent Auto-metering.
No exposure compensation was used in either camera.
This is not a scientific test, as it is handheld, but for what is worth, here it is:

    5D - 1/500 - f6.3 - ISO 100

    E-PL2 - 1/1250 - f6.3 - ISO 200

    5D - 1/200 - f6.3 - ISO 100

    E-PL2 - 1/640 - f6.3 - ISO 200

5D's output shows its greater dynamic range (though exposure is different between the shots) and greater detail. At least, that's the impression you get. Can't really say much with reduced size prints. Only real conclusion: both cameras can take nice pictures, and the 5D has the better sensor tech. Both things we already knew :)
