This wasn't done on m43, but hey..it was 1985-ish. Slide film..probably AGFAChrome..Canon A-1..Vivitar Ser.1 70-210..scanned on my Epson flat bed. Shot at Lime Rock during a regional SCCA race..probably 4th of July..over by the now modified up hill section.Car shown is late 60's-early 70's Alfa Romeo coupe

This car was on display at the Classic Sport Racing Group races and was part of the charity rides at midday. Race fans would pay to ride shotgun with the owners for a few laps at Sonoma Raceway. The ride in this one must have been costly. That's a 250 Testa Rossa next to it.

Apologies for the phone shot, but saw this 1930s Bentley at B&Q (UK home improvement store, equivalent of Home Depot, Lowes etc IIRC) over the weekend.
Note the roll of roofing felt strapped to the running board!

I guess if you're going to own one, you might as well use it!

my yearly visit to the Goodwood Revival, quite simply the best historic race meeting in the world, I just get a couple of hours over the weekend for photos, mainly early morning & late after the track activities have finished as i'm working trackside

Went to the Cars and Coffee last weekend and took a few pics to share. Oly E-M10, kit lens, circular polarizer, shot in RAW processed in Aperture.

Ford GT40 generated a LOT of interest.

The owner had a neat story behind these tires, of all things. Cooper bought the molds, and every once in awhile runs a new batch of tires for these cars so that owners can have period-correct tires on their cars. Very cool.
