Sorry, a little bit of catch-up here. Busy week. These are actually different images.

Week 39 - Gauges/Meters/Scales:

A chance to think about different types of Gauges, Meters, and Scales. An abandoned player piano behind the piano shop in town.

I haven't missed a week, until last week!! I'll play catch up tomorrow, hopefully. I'll have to get my thinking cap on for this weeks challenge - I've gone down with manflu, but honey, lemons and copious amounts of Shiraz should pull me through :)

As some of you say “I will use this as a bookmark until I find something better”

Week 39 - Gauges/Meters/Scales:

After posting the more esoteric musical version that combined of this week's assignment (the player piano that uses proper gauge input to create musical scales in whatever metre the author wishes), I thought it apropos to leap to the mundane interpretations we all see (but dimly ... ) and offer these common versions from a trip to the grocery store:

Gauges:

I'm sure hoping there's a prize. I'm thinking that musical interpretation is at least a Pulitzer nominee. :)

Thinking of you in your time of suffering. 4 out of 5 winos in Colorado agree that Australian or Argentinian Shiraz is especially effective for manflu. After which, I hope that thinking cap still fits and doesn't hurt too much to wear. :)

Week 38 - Architecture & Humans:

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear....

I was passing through Bristol today and thought maybe I can capture the iconic Clifton suspension bridge with some humans crossing it, they're in there if you look closely - it was absolutely hammering down with rain, and blowing a gale too, I've had to crop this between the rain splodges on the lens, so just an academic pic (that's been heavily processed and shot into the light) as I don't want to miss a week.

So many gauges, so little time. This is right up my work-alley.
