    UPDATE: ALL SOLD

I have three 50mm Pentax K-mount primes and an Oly zoom lens I am willing to give away free. Why? Because I want to give someone a chance to try a legacy lens without spending a lot of money. There are a few catches:

    1. One per person - I want these to go to individuals, not resellers.

    2. I would prefer the individuals be someone new to using adapted lenses and/or not rolling in dough (e.g. starving students).

    3. You will pay shipping. It will be cost rounded up a dollar or two. I will not be making any money but I don't want to lose any either. I am estimating $7 or so in the US.

    4. You must get your own :43: adapter - none are included. I have been using Rainbow Imaging and been satisfied.

    5. All sales final.

    6. If you feel guilty at spending so little assuage that guilt by donating something to Mu-43!

    7. If you don't feel guilty at spending so little donate something to Mu-43 anyway!

Here they are! All have clean glass and are in very good condition.

I got the idea from Alan Roseman - as I recall he gave away a 50mm Minolta Rokkor. I liked the idea.

Since there are four lenses I hope all four people are happy ;)

The "A" lenses are newer and support some more automatic features (which you cannot use on the mu-43 cameras anyway). Otherwise I believe they are pretty much the same optically.

Thanks Alan, we've met and are quite familiar...but google doesn't shoot and has no idea about IQ differences between the two. I asked and still searching.maybe if I buy google a m4/3, it'll get the bug and be able to help me out a little more often.

Hope somebody enjoys the glass, this is a great opportunity to start to enjoy manual and legacy glass. I'm waiting for my om adapter still, damn the Canadian postal strike. I have the 75-150 f4 and wanting to try it out in comparison to the oly 14-150 native glass.

Cheers to Narnian for helping out the community, and Alan for making things light hearted.
