2nd Saturday in a row I've been out to this location. 2nd trip was much better.

Had a lot of fun editing these in lightroom, but I may have gone overboard :)

I think they were all shot with my GH2 and 17mm Olympus lens, with a ND 8 filter

Far out man. Average Canadian produces some extraordinary photos.
I love all of them heaps. May I ask what processing you did to achieve the look in the first one. I love how the cold tones enhance the subject nicely. And yet in No 4 the warmer tones work beautifully as well, especially in the clouds.

I'm rating this a five star thread. These are a credit to what the micro four thirds system can achieve in capable hands.

One thing, I would love to see these bigger mate. Large size embed from flicker would be awesome.

Thank you for the very kind words.

For both the fist and second image I used the presets from here.

The first pic was the General - Auto Tone preset and then preset 300 v2, and the second pic was 300 v1. I really liked the way it highlighted the snow and made the general picture look very cold like you mentioned

I then used Noiseware Professional Edition to reduce the noise in the image. I will try to remember tonight to upload a larger image of the photo and perhaps the .raw image as well so you see how much better lightroom makes me look :)

    Beautiful

Spectacular work! Definitely not overboard. They are all excellent; the second is my favorite.

They all look great. I will have to take a drive down there and get some shots.

Great set! I don't think they are over processed at all
