45-150 vs. 45-200

    Other than the extra reach of the 45-200, are there any differences in build quality/optical/IQ performance between the Panasonic 45-150 f/4.0-5.6 ASPH vs. the Panasonic 45-200 f/4.0-5.6 Vario MEGA OIS?

    The 45-200 is larger and heavier. I think the 45-150 is a bit sharper too, but I don't think it is a huge difference. Both feel well built to me, better than the kit lens.

    I ended up going with the 45-150 because of the size and weigh difference mainly. I also have the 100-300, so the extra 50mm didn't matter to me. The 45-150 is a perfect walking around telephoto zoom. The 45-200 might be better if you aren't going to get the 100-300 and you shoot from a tripod more than hand held.

    I have hte 45-150 and am very happy with it. I had the 45-200 and the copy I had was a little soft at 200. A little software sharpening took care of it. I haven't had the 45-200 in a couple of years (got out of u4/3 then back into it), but if I remember right it is bigger and quite a bit heavier than the 45-150.
