    A99 and 24-70 sell for $1999 each. So at least this is down into the realm of normal prices.

    I guess this marks the end of Hasselblad's strange Sony experiment.

    Nope! They just announced their new model. It's based on the A7r.

    No, not the A7r II. The original A7r. And they announced it after the A7r II announcement. And it obviously costs twice as much.

    So, they're replacing a camera with 24 MP full frame, IBIS, EVF, on and off-sensor PDAF, 6 fps, with a new model with 24 MP full frame, no IBIS, CDAF only, 5 fps.....

    Must say the deal looks like it would take very nice shots and handle very nicely, for a 4k price.
