We've just had 4 little kittens arrive a couple of weeks ago and they are one of the most entertaining little creatures ever I reckon. Just watching them play puts a smile on my face. This afternoon I couldn't resist and I had to try and capture their funny antics as they rolled, climbed and jumped around like maniacs. As I write the little black fella is careening around the lounge room and has just run into a chair and now is walking backwards. Over he comes and licks my toes. I can't handle that, so I lift him up onto my lap. Now he's wriggled himself behind my back. Up he pops on my arm and licks it. alfdlhfaldkhflad ( that's where he climbed onto my keyboard) I pull him off the keyboard and up starts his purring sounding like a full revving glow-plug engine! He looks up at me with his cute big eyes and stretches out on the lounge chair upside down.

Here they are. GF1 with the 14-45mm.

Here is another. This little ginger Kitten was born without a tail! It's mother is a Manx so she has a small tail but I didn't know they could produce tailless offspring.

I've got a 6-7 week old right now I rescued at the State Park where I work. My vet said she was no older than 2 days when I found her. My dogs Hugo and Stanley (also rescues) adore her. She's kind entered into that maniac attack everything that moves kitten stage. She plays rodeo rider on Stanley's tail. He seems to think it's hilarious.

Very sweet image...

Looks like it belongs on a cat calendar or notecard.

Yes, VERY VERY cute, and nicely captured as well. But I'm warning you - they're GONNA turn into CATS and then all of the sweetness and light wil be gone. Just you wait and see!

-Ray

It's getting bigger Ray, but the sweetness and light hasn't gone yet.

Here are some shots I took with the pana 20/1.7 at the Jakarta animal shelter last weekend:

you probably have to log in to your facebook, I'll try to get a better link later (below)

I hope the link works, my GF uploaded them to her facebook and I didn't want to upload them again (limited internet here in Jakarta)

Edit: Just in case the link works, the street shots were with the Nikon 50/1.4 from a taxi window. All of the animal shots were with the panny.

Edit 2: Here is the public link, no logins required
