Just got this old thing yesterday. Haven't shot any film yet, but have it loaded.
Waiting for it to warm up a bit...

Can't remember ever seeing an old camera in such beautiful shape!

Congrats! I have many folding cameras. If they've been unused for a lengthy period, the shutter slowed down. I always "exercise" them 10-15 times to limper up their mechanisms.

The perfect antidote to all this ridiculous tiny digital stuff (much as we all love it...)

    Thanks!
Chrome, the camera has just been CLA'd and the shutter works like buttah! You would almost swear it was new. Timer is even working nicely...
There's a little pitting on the chrome retractor arm and paint wear on the lens board pull, but that's about it. The bellows is luxuriously supple and the smell of the leather is just delicious.
It's a wonderfully functional camera. Can't wait to see those first 8 huge negatives...

CLA'd, sweet. I can't wait to see your postings. If you remember please PM me when you post. I don't want to miss them.

6x9 is an amazing ratio, and one of my favorite formats. My favorite is the 116 or 616 format, which produces a 2.5" x 4.25" negative. 120 film can be run through the camera, with a mere 1mm on either edge resting on the framing window.

    Good Shooting!

Shot a roll through it yesterday, but have to wait till next week for processing and contact sheet.
Chrome, I probably won't be able to post photos for a while. Still haven't bought a V700. Got to work on the Missus for a while longer...

Finally got a chance to scan one of the 6x9 negatives from the '34 Voigtlander Inos.
Was done on the V700 with SilverFast SE+, Ektar 100 film.

    42nd-St-pond-6x9.

Not the sharpest lens in the box, but a nice look I think.

    Not bad Haans, not bad.

The photo of the camera itself has disappeared from the top of this page ... for me at least.

    Thanks Ulfric.
I dumped the photos from my gallery a while back...
