Oooh, we finally get a remake of the 12-60 SWD and 50-200 SWD from 4/3, but in a native mount and size.

I'll be very interested to see more about these lenses (price, specs, performance, etc.).

It also looks as if the 8-18 can take filters as well.

Given the Leica branding, they won't be cheap or even inexpensive.

Seriously!? g-damn! There are so many anouncements these day that my eyes bleed and my brain boils. Really exciting times. These all anouncements will push the m4/3 system even further.

Can't wait for reading more about the 12-60!

(and start saving money for buying it and maybe the new 7.5mm from Laowa)

awesome, I like to see what the 8-16 is like. Not as wide a 7mm, but 16 on the other end is pretty decent. Might make a good walk-around lens if you like it wide. Looks like it might be able to take filters... Hope it comes weather sealed, and doesn't have issues with purple blobs!

The other lenses are pretty interesting if they perform better than the current bunch. Hopefully they will be with the leica branding

Panasonic really seem to have answered a lot of people's wishes with these. This looks like the 12-60mm everybody actually wanted as opposed to the f/3.5-5.6 one. I'm not sure it suits me these days as judging from the size of the mount it's about the size of the 12-40, with which I shoot wide open at 40mm a lot, and really like the close focussing feature. The telephoto and UWA though I really like - I don't get along well with my 9-18mm and the 45-175mm just seems a tad too slow sometimes.

Man the 50-200mm is tiny compared to the old 4/3 version. Judging from the mount it's only about the size of the 100-300mm.

As much as I love th O50-200, a native replacement of equal quality would be nice. If it can synch IS with E-M1ii ...

Any idea what the filter size is on 50-200? The 12-60 is 67mm (the 12-60 SWD was 72mm). It would be great if the 50-200 shared a 67mm filter thread (the 50-200 SWD was 67mm, and that was an f/2.8-3.5). It would be really great if all three lenses took 67mm filters.

Sadly, no time table for release (hopefully that info will come out from discussion had at the show). I could seriously see selling my 2 E-M1's, 7-14 PRO, 12-60 SWD, 50-200 SWD to get 2 G85's and this trio though.

These look like very, very interesting lenses, assuming good wide open performance. Now, please add a 1.4x teleconverter for the 50-200. Fairly compact, good range of apertures, hopefully familiarly solid build quality. Might convince me to sell the 50-200 SWD, although the price/quality ratio on that lens truly is ridiculous and resale value is only so-so. The little Tuna ain't going anywhere though.

Very nice indeed! Now for some interesting Olympus announcements please...

I'm really curious where these will sit pricing wise. The 12-60 seems like the all around lens I wanted, but not sure I'll like the pricetag, heh.

Given their size I really doubt it.

I looked at the specs and thought, finally some mid-range zooms to slot between the 4-5.6 kit lenses and the high end 2.8 zooms. Then I saw the Leica branding, lol. These will probably cost more than the Olympus Pro Zoom line.

They look like nice lenses in any case though.
