Let me know if anyone is trying to sell one for a decent price.

Free bump with a question, I hope it's not very off-topic. :) What do you want to use it for? I was also looking at legacy 28mm lenses, bought a Konica 28/3.5 for $20 and was also considering a Yashica 28/2.8 ml and Olympus 28/2.8 to go with it, but my main interest was for reverse macro shooting, and then maybe for shooting video. The thing about 28mm on mft is that it's sort of like a slow "normal" lens, this focal length is covered by native lenses, and legacy 28/2 are usually quite expensive, more expensive than a Sigma 30/2.8... and most of older wide angles aren't that good optically, again a cheaper Sigma would be better. I'm just curious how do you plan to use that 28/2 and what price range are you looking at? The only affordable 28/2 I've seen was the one from Kiron, around $100 on ebay, and it's nothing exciting at f/2.

I do a lot of video an I need something similar to my old 50mm on my canon dslr. I had a 55mm fl 1.2 that was amazing. But that's not going to happen for my m43 camera. So I'm looking for a fast wide angle for video. Also I find focus on old lenses to be much smoother.

I was looking at the kirons. But haven't seen much of a review in them.

I picked up a Kiron 28mm f2 for about $60 USD. I have been quite surprised with the output of this lens. There is a Vivitar branded version of this lens as well.

I have the Vivitar/Kiron 28mm 2.5 if that's of interest. Very nice condition with both caps, UV filter and original leather case (case a bit ratty). Canon FD breech lock mount. Just got the PL25, so don't have much use for it now. $40 + shipping?

Sounds good, no rush. I said leather case, meant leatherette... Here's a shot taken with the lens on the EP-2.
