Just got this with the 12-50 2 weeks ago and I'm loving it. Can't wait for the 14mm and 45mm to get here. What a joy this camera is to shoot, with the viewfinder again reminds me of my Pentax LX. The image quality is top notch, focusing very fast, and the IBS - WOW!!! A couple of things I do miss about the nex 5n is the HDR and multi-shot night mode.

Here are a few shots with the kit lens

Great shots! I'm still in my first week (migrated from Fuji X-Pro 1) and am likewise very pleased with the OM-D's capabilities as I - like you - adjust from another platform. Just received my 14 today in the mail and picked up my 17 today as well and love both of em!

Good stuff :) the 14 and 45 are fantastic and tiny. I'm still surprised by how small and light they are.

Great set of images and you have shown just how good the kit lens can be.

Glad you are enjoying the camera, I traded in all my DSLR kit in Apr and got an OMD kit as I wanted to go "smaller & lighter" and have no regrets!

I personally find the OMD IQ equates to that from my APS-C and also in many cases matches the D700 so I am really happy.

I would seriously recommend you look at the Oly 45 f.1.8, it is a stunning lens at a really good price so well worth the investment.

Looking forward to seeing many more of your images.

OP - Nice job. Enjoy it. I used to have that 45mm, let me tell you, it's an amazing piece of glass.

Why did you switch from Fuji. I'm debating the two systems right now.

Would you share your processing on these?

Looks like the tour buses in Glacier NP. I saw a lot of these out there last year...restored and converted to natural gas by Ford.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. This is a great forum to learn and share. Yes the first two are the Jammer buses here in Glacier. I live and work only 45 mins away :)

The 2 bus shots are noncropped images straight ooc jpegs with zero pp work. I forgot how intimate a shooting experience using a viewfinder was and knew I was missing something in the whole experience, which is partly why I switched from the 5n. I find a tighter composition using the vf and crop less often.

The last 2 shots are mildly cropped with a light amount of exposure adjustment. I only have iPhoto 11' at the moment. Looking to bet topaz b&w this month.

I shoot a lot of street/documentary style photography and found that the autofocus on the X-Pro 1 was not up to the task. Zone focusing works to an extent but I prefer being able to attain critical focus. Great camera, but the wrong tool for the job for me.

    Surprised

This surprises me, I switched from full frame and also a Pany GX1 (my premium street shooter before) to the OMD and find that the AF on the OMD is perfect for street, it is very fast and accurate.

I agree it is not good at AF-C or tracking but using it on AF-S works just fine for me and results are stunning.

Here are some of my images shot using AF-S

Without derailing the OP's image post (sorry about the OT stuff), it was the Fuji's AF that wasn't working for me, so I switched to the OM-D, which is incredibly fast and accurate.

Denis, could you tell us why you migrated? I love both my X100 - for its manual controls - and my E-M5.

Just in case Denis misses your question or is too modest to point you to his blog, he talks about it here.
