So long, E-P3. Adored your colors and the lightning fast touch focus. RIP.

Some part of me secretly wishes my kids would do that to my E-PL3 so I can upgrade to the E-P5. LOL

Did you you wash the camera out of your hair? Or is it full of soap?

Now you know why you shouldn't feed your Olympus shampoo. I've put mine on a strict diet of lint-free cloth and the occasional packet of silica granules. It seems to be working thus far...

throw it in your toilet and leave it until yer SO finds it and they have to bring it to you
and you can look like yer about to have a adult tantrum.. and then just calm down and say "well.. its ok.. its just a camera... i can always buy another.. and walk away pouting"

then go to yer onling shopping cart and hit BUY

Ouch...sorry to hear. How did it happen?

When I travel - and I travel a lot - I always put the camera in the very top in the backpack. Shampoo, soap, etc go in sealed bags in an outside pocket where they can explode for all I care. ;)

I had stored the e-p3 on its flat side in my toiletries bag. Shampoo was in an unsealed plastic bag. I forgot to seal it tightly. Sometime during transit, the shampoo seaped out and got into the electronics.

Still upset at how little it took. Poor e-p3, we were going to be together for a long time.

Bought the g5 to make up for it - still trying to tweak for the same liveliness in colors.

I've been washing my hair with this old E-1 for ages ... but it's weather resistant!

    Eek...that sucks...for the future:

    - Camera goes on top. Of everything. Always.
    - Ziploc bags. Everywhere. (I have virtually everything in separate Ziploc bags with usually about 5 of them as spares. They weigh nothing, take up no room and cost nothing).
    - Duct tape on the snap cap. It looks ugly, but it works like a hot-damn. :D
    - Use separate/external/side pockets for sunscreen, shampoo, etc. Bursts open and drips everywhere? I'd rather clean it out of the trunk of my car than my camera. ;)

Hopefully these can help someone...and I hope you do enjoy your new camera! :)
