I've seen a number of threads about this lens, some pondering why it exists, some showing -- convincingly in my estimation -- that its existence is justified and that has its place. I had not seen an "Image Thread" devoted to it. So here it is. This one has a two dimensional Hollywood painted set look to me that I like: a kind of Southwest trailer park Lassie look: This is just a "shadows and shapes" kind of shot that I take a lot of, especially if I'm wandering with a fixed lens camera like the Olympus XA. Both were shot with the E-M5, though I look forward to walking around with the lens and the E-PM2 I have on its way. I think it's fun, and the images have a look and feel of their own. It's fun to see in its terms and look for images that fit. At 8x10 it's falloff in sharpness outside the center doesn't mean much -- to me at least and the kinds of things I want to do with it.
