I purchased a 14mm f2.5 a couple of weeks ago. It works like a charm but the only thing is that it feels like it is a bit to stiff when I put it on my camera. Is this normal or is there a fix to loosen up the bayonet just a bit?
My Oly 14-45mm and 40-150mm don't have this problem.

I guess it's normal, I've noticed the same on my 14 and also on my 20 (my camera is an E-PL5)

Could be due to different copies they produced..I have 2 14mm..one silver another black..silver kinda...tight..while the black smooth to mount..strange isn't it?

This appears to be normal. I had an E-Pl1 and this lens was extremely tight to get on or off. I switched to a Panny G5 and the problem decreased, but it is still the tightest lens to get on and off the body.

Meh. My 20mm was a little tight. Just twisted it around on the mount (keeping it from locking or falling off) until whatever was catching was worn off. Works like a champ now.

Me thinks some of you treat this stuff a little more delicately than it needs to be.

I actually like it a little stiff. Something satisfying about the grind into a click. Might miss it if the stiffness goes away...

Well, as you get older, the stiffness moves to different parts of your body
