Hi,

For some reason my picture got overexposed. I never had this problem before. At first I thought the light meter was not working properly. I checked all the setting and it all looked fine. I switched to another lens and the exposure was perfect.

From looking up the internet, it seemed that the aperture link is broken. If this is the case, then the kit lens (however it is fantastic) is not durable as I thought. I had this lens for about 2 years.

I wonder if anyone have this similar problem?

My 14-42EZ did the same - wouldn't stop down. It was just under warranty so was repaired. A few months later it decided to not collapse completely when turned off - again fixed under warranty. It doesn't seem to be the most reliable lens.
