So I combined a few of my new toys this evening, and discovered that the computar 12mm CCTV lens when combined with an Infra"ed" filter (That's that the case says... Apparently it was so cheap they couldn't afford to include the last R) on my GF1 produces some fantastic results. FWIW, I took removed the focus stop screw from the computar, which makes both close focusing and infinity focus a breeze.

This was handheld, so I was shooting wide open but I think next time I will bring my gorillapod with me so I can stop down and get better control of my DOF.
