Can 12-50mm kit lens focus close at any focal length? Do m43 have ring light options for either 12-50 or 60?

    Don't know if I should get 12-50 + 75 or
    Wide + 60 and keep my 14-150.

I do not do macro too much so I think 12-50 should suffice.

    Which wide?

You only have the choices of 9-18mm, 12mm and 7-14mm (in order of price) to choose from.

I personally have sold 12-50 to get the 14-150, but I added the 9-18 to cover up to 12mm wide angle. I am in the process of researching macro alternatives, and probably will end up getting extension tubes. YMMV.

Macro mode is at 43mm only and goes to 0.23m from the sensor and approx half size reproducton. I have found this gives a reasonable space for using natural lighting. Close focus in normal mode is quite reasonable. I think it is around 0.4 meters.

I picked up a cheap ebay LED ring light that uses Cokin compatible rings to attach. I use it on both the 12-50 and 60mm.

The 60mm and 75mm are both very very good. For portraits the extra speed of the 75 will be an advantage. For landscapes either will work.

    Tough choice.
