Thanks, Voyager. Almost 1000 of those posts are in our private moderator forum, but we're certainly pleased with how far the site has come!

im a regular at both forums , i would love a shared thread section or some similar way of
"cultural exchange" perhaps a info database or a "micro- pedia" section of database info
,...........or something that indicated a cooperative spirit. a share section perhaps.

it seems like a win win idea to me , perhaps im just naive.........
just mho

Cosina,
I like Voyager's site too. He was the first.
Vision man, the guys got vision.
I see it like 2 different places to eat with the same kinda menu.

They each serve the customers but differently, not better or worse, just different.
Myself, I'll eat at both spots. Making them come together would only dismiss the differences between the 2 menus.

You should be a Super Mod over there.......!

Cosinaphile, I don't think that there is a practical way to formally do that. The terrific members we share are a great means of natural cultural exchange. Besides that, we have at least 80 links to e-p1.net, which ought to be good for a little cultural exchange .

i suppose that true ,many posters visit both sites and bring what viable to both forums ,

so i guess cross pollination happens as matter of natural fact, and does not need a structured manner or forum help to be accomplished.

as emily latella would say............never mind, lol :)

:thiagree:

It's a good job we're not in competition... I'm not an active member of E-P1.net, but I have very good friends who are...

We've discussed this in our moderator forum and I think we all agree that the concept of 'owning' members is absurd.

There are hundreds of thousands of photographers who just haven't found a forum worth frequenting... yet.

Cheers

Brian
