Not sure if it will be released or if it was just a patent but it would be nice. If it does happen I hope it will fit all m4/3 lenses and not just the 40-150mm.
Nice! I'd bet this goes with the 300mm f/4 they've announced as well. I agree, hopefully it's not specific to the 40-150mm f/2.8 as I'd certainly buy one if I could use it with a couple of the faster m4/3 tele lenses.
I use the Nikon 300/4 AF-S with the matched 1.4x TC - it's a very portable and potent combination. Technique is at a premium with that pair, though, and will be with the Oly pair.
That would be fantastic. I don't mind using my Canon EF 400mm, but auto focus would be really nice to have with a long lens.
This is awesome news! I don't think it will be specific to the 40-150 lens. I think/hope it will work with the 75/1.8 and 300/4 lenses as well.
