GF1 and 14mm: Cool bug on the Shenandoah National Park

Very cool! I am very familiar with Katydids and the sound they make, but never knew what they looked like. Now I know.

Oooh, instant rebate on the GH2 & GX1

The most ridiculous part of this, is that you can get the GX1 body only for 661, and the GX1 with the kit zoom for only about 30 bucks more. I have no interest in that X zoom lens. Wish you could get the body only for cheaper!

What approach do you use to capture HDR using GX1?

I looked at your pic, and thought, "man, that looks like Virginia", then I looked at your location and felt vindicated. Where are you located in VA

Do you all still have your GF1s? considering keeping mine as a beater. I do a lot of camping/hiking considering the gf1 with a cheap kit lens for such events.

Upgrade from GF1 to GX1? Advice

I've had a GF1 since right around the time it came out. Have the Panasonic 20mm and the Oly 45mm. The Olympus cameras including the OM-D just don't do it for me. I like the "tank" feeling the GF1 has. Been thinking about picking up a GX1. Am I going to see a big difference in the newer...

E-PM1: Stuck Pixel and Blue Light

Ned, I thought the pixel mapping was for a dead or stuck pixel in the sensor. This is just a stuck pixel on the LCD, not something registering in my photos.

E-PM1: Stuck Pixel and Blue Light

Got my e-pm1 for Christmas. I love it. Been using my panny 20mm and oly 45mm. Very pleased with the results. Two questions. 1. I have a stuck pixel right smack dab in the middle of the LCD. Damn it's driving me crazy. It's so small and I can't see it all the time - but I am considering...

Considering E-PM1 as second body/stop gap

For the reviewer with the white E-PM1, how is that working out for you? Is the body painted metal or is it plastic/polycarbonate? Does it seem durable? I've only every had black cameras, but the white does look sharp. I especially like how it pairs nicely with the black and the newer silver...

Considering E-PM1 as second body/stop gap

Well I played with the epm1 at a best buy. Didn't pull the trigger today but I think it's going to be a purchase. They even let me unhook it and hold it without the security block. Just have to decide on the color now :-) The on screen menu seemed really intuitive. Quickly put it in PASM mode...

Is the body metal or plastic? I wish the black body came with the silver kit zoom.

Settings for "Filmic" Look on GF1

Saturday (DMC-GF1) on Vimeo Here is a video a put together a while back. I actually just shot most of this in A priority with auto iso. It locks up at the end I need to reupload it. I just imported the videos into iMovie on my Mac. Took a while to import but easy to work with after that...

Considering E-PM1 as second body/stop gap

I really do prefer shooting jpg. I have and do shoot raw sometimes but I just honestly Can't justify the extra time in the workflow with my current lifestyle and the style of shooting I do. The ibis issues are a little concerning. Ibis has always been one of the reasons I have coveted an...

Considering E-PM1 as second body/stop gap

Your review was actually what put this camera on my radar (had previously been scheming some way to get an e-p3). It really does seem like a great value and also a good fit for my style of shooting.

Considering E-PM1 as second body/stop gap

Yeah, I have the 20/1.7 and the 45/1.8. The issue is the ISO. Inside in the evenings with a few lights on, things just get a little noisy.
