    Always and on every lens I've ever owned. Protection against falls etc. either Olympus, Panasonic, or B+W. The Lumix 12-35 is now my favorite. The primes are used, when I need "more light". The Lumix 35-100 is hopefully next.

    I just received the Black 12mm Special Edition lens and it sure looks sweet on the black OM-D. Buying the equivalent lens in silver with a 46mm equivalent protective filter, lens cap and lens hood would be roughly $940+ ... so getting an extra black paint job maybe worth ~ $150 ... I think so...

    Interesting - thank you for the link. RAW and JPEGs look virtually identical in LR, so I guess the camera does recognize the lens and does apply the appropriate corrections - super. I'll chill happily. The lens is gorgeous BTW.
