    Panasonic G6 Stop Motion feature?

Thank You... And thank you for the link to the Advanced Manual. For some reason I didn't have a copy of that before, only the standard manual that didn't mention it. I'm gonna have fun with this one!

    Panasonic G6 Stop Motion feature?

Hey guys.. I've looked all around the internet & manual and for the life of me I can't find directions (or figure out) how to access the Stop Motion feature. I know how to do it the traditional way, but the G6 is supposed to have some easy Stop Motion feature. Any help is appreciated.

    G2 and G10 differences?

That's a good question. It looks like GH1 shoots 1080p AVCHD Vs. G2 720 AVCHD-lite.?. I'm not qualified to say. I'm curious to hear what others will recommend. I'd love to the actual side-by-side comparison of the footage. I'm sure someone will chime in shortly.

    G2 and G10 differences?

Also, if you have the money (which I don't) the GH2 is obviously the way to go, for many reasons.

    How Many Minutes Used...

B&H's return policy is "less than 120mins of use". Is there a way I (or more importantly "they") can find this out? DMC-G2.

    Panasonic G2

    1) "overwhelmed with the feedback": I hear you. I'm surprised as well!! I havent seen any "pffft.. if you don't know, I'm not telling you" kind of attitudes that usually plague forums. I imagine those types are still resisting the micro 4 3 scene (which is fine by me). 2) "blurry shots"...

    G2 and G10 differences?

Also, I have the fastest 32gb SD card I could find. I have my video on the highest HD AVCHD-lite setting. I think I'm able to shoot something like, over 3 hours of video. Totally happy with that.

    G2 and G10 differences?

I went through that whole thing. After seeing footage friends were getting out of the GF1, I had to have it. I primarily shoot video, and because of that, I ended up getting the G2. I'm happy with it. You can shoot video in any (P,S,A,M) mode. And in the video mode, you can adjust the...

Video Camera Icon Mode Vs. Other Modes

What is the difference in shooting video in the “insert film camera icon here” mode rather than shooting (video) in other (P, A, S, M) modes? (I know what P, A, S, M do in photography.. I just don’t know specifically what the ‘film-camera-icon’ mode does, or why I'd use it over other camera...

    Auto/Manual Iris?

Ahhhrrggg!!! Thanks PhotoSmart42! That's what it is. I did not know that. I always miss the obvious. That answers another question I had concerning why I get a shot perfect in the LCD and the photo comes out totally different. I know, I know, it's not a $80 HappySnap camera from Wal-Mart.

    Auto/Manual Iris?

Something I'm having trouble figuring out: I'm having trouble understanding why my camera (G2) takes it upon itself to adjust lighting/exposure/iris/whatever. O.k. In Manual. I adjust my shutter, aperture, and ISO to exactly what I want. Then I move to a different room, or near a window...

    Panasonic G2

@ jfoco: I got the 20mm f1.7 one that they make for the Lumix's. But I didn't have a whole lot of blur on the one that came with it, and I rarely ever use flash. Yeah, run through with the manual. If your shoot in "P' mode, or have the "iA" on, and you allow the 'auto ISO' to go up to 800 or...

    14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Vs. 20mm f/1.7 Lens

@ Orientator: I primarily have experience using prosumer fixed-lens video cameras.. So I never really had to grasp certain aspects of working with different lenses. I've always shot wide (if I need to zoom I'd simply move in closer). This is a new world to me and I'm having fun learning. The...

    Panasonic G2

Hi! I have the G2 and I'm new to the micro 4/3 as well. I recommend setting aside a few hours and going through each and every menu setting with your manual in hand. Learn what each and every feature does. Google it if you still don't get it. You may have to do this a couple of times for it...

    14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Vs. 20mm f/1.7 Lens

Hi all, I recently bought a G2 after being impressed with the footage a friend of mine was acquiring on his GF1. I quickly noticed that my G2 was not getting near the quality of the GF1. The main difference (that I could tell) is he has the 20mm lens and I have the 14-42mm. After some test...
