Olympus OMD e10 or e5? Which would be the best choice as I am needing on board image stabilisation.

On the plus side of the e-M5 is the batterygrip, especially helpful when you are shooting portrait. You can get a e-m5 pretty cheap used in good conditions. But as already mentioned, the E-M10 has some nice improvements which are worse considering.

Thinking about adapting...is FD a good choice? Anyone shooting with M4/3 and the FD 50 1.4?

I am not that happy with my nFD 50 1.4. The color rendering is a little cold with a purple tint. Wide open the lens is extremly soft until stopped down to f2.8. The lens is also prone to flares, but thats a common problem with legacy glass. However the bokeh is very pleasing. I have alo owned...

No More Neutral Density Filters For The Time Being

Hmm you seem to not understand the use of NDs, ... Rather pointless discussion. ND Grad for dimming a bright sky and expanding the dynamic range of the image by several stops. You will never do this in pp for the time beeing. Not to mention long exposure shots and large apertures in bright daylight.

    Vintage Macro Zooms?

The Canon FD 100 F4 macro is also worth a look. U gan get it for under 100$ including the 1:1 extension tube and the image quality is impressive. In addition its pretty resistant to flare and reflections.

A good, small, cheap super-telephoto lens?

Small and cheap does not fit to the term super-telephoto. Either you go for an heavy and bulky legacy lense or invest some more bugs in one of the two superteles available from Pana (100-300) or Oly (75-300).

Please Help: Is my Oly 9-18 sharp (enough)?

Use sth like Dropbox oder SkyDrive to share the raw files. B2t: I was also a bit concerned about the sharpnedd of my 9-18. But compared to my razorsharp Panasonic 20/1.7 and an adapted Minolta its fine for a zoom lens. And i remind you to correct for CAs, because they are quiet significant with...

For prime lovers: what's your preferred ratio?

My setup is roughly 2.2ish. Rather long but i have no need for indermediate focal lengths. Basically, I'm shooting landscape + nature close up. My setup is 9-18, 20 (for indoor), 50 legacy, 135 legacy, 270 (135 with TCx2). I will add the 75 and an FE in the long run i guess.

Thought about moving to Oly µ4/3.

If i remember correctly, the EVF of the OMD is the same as the VF-2. However they have the same resolution. But the 5-axis IS of the OMD is awesome - not comparable to the PEN IS. Furthermore you have to oertunity to add an extra battery grip, that improves the handling with larger lenses. I...

Where do I find camera profiles?

Thats not entirely true. There are "some" corrections. But vignetting is more or less untouched. You can use the Adobe Lens Profile Downloader, which directly imports the profile into LR/ACR. There are some good profiles for most of the popular lenses. Especially, when you want to stich...

Golf Course Sunset: 2 different processing styles

First one is really great in terms of colors and composition. The second one is the exact opposite. I am not a fan of this " all sliders to the maximum" HDRs. A bit less microcontrast and less saturation and the second picture would look much more beautiful.

Pana is rumored to plan CFF (compact full frame) for post M43

Do Leica provide medium to long telephoto lenses, beside the 135/3.4 (450 gr)? Have you ever had a Leica in your hand? Its quiet heavy. I do have vintage lenses for FF and in comparison to MFT they are bulky. That is a fact! For street -with around 50 mm - its another story. Btw comparing...

    Sensor problem

EVERY CCD/CMOS based camera has this Problem even a Canon 5D III. Its a physical property of every senor when it is heating up. Sensor problem

The shutterspeed was 125 seconds not 1/125 s. He was unsing a 10 stop ND filter. When i turn off the dark frame compensation i get the same amount of hot pixels nothing to worry about.

    Sensor problem

The pixels are hotpixels and the camera has an option to automatically remove them (dark frame image substraction) The option is somehwere in the main menu, best is to habe a look in the manual. These pixels are caused by the "warm" sensor during long exposures. And your tripod seems to be not...

    12mm 2.0 or 12-35?

What about the Oly 9-18? Its a decent lens for a valuable price. When you primarily shoot landscapes this lens is worth a look. There you have true UWA and it significantly costs less than the 12-35. Only drawback is the rather medicore aperture range of 4 to 5.6. However if you are shooting...

    Which medium prime?

I highly recommend a Minolta MD (Rokkor) or MC 135 2.8. Its a beautiful and well constructed lens with no vignetting wide open and its razor sharp too.
