    Just ordered a LX100

thanks for your opinions! I've finally received it, it's smaller than I was expecting!. My first thought when I had it in my hands was "I want to go outside and take photos! It's going to be hard to decide which one to pick between the LX100 and my beloved E-M5 II + 12-40 In my case, size matters!

    Just ordered a LX100

Will I be disappointed? I had a GX80 + 12-32 + 17mm 1.8, but I only use my camera when travelling or going out with the family. I don't have "high aspirations" just have fun shooting with a camera and a viewfinder and have higher quality than with the phone's camera I had a RX100 IV but I sold...

Tempted to go back to DSLR, for cost reasons

I came to m4/3 from Canon DSLR because of size and weight (After a 12 days trip on Italy which gave me a stiff pain), coming back to DLSR's is unthinkable for me, I'm very happy with my E-M5 with 17mm 1.8, pretty small package and great IQ, I hardly ever use zooms even though I didn't have any...

Rethought the concept - not the leses - of a travel lens set

Three lens in the bag is my kit for traveling, but I usually left one in the car/room and only carry with the 17mm (which is on the camera 90% of the time) and the 12-50 zoom

    Olympus 17mm 1.8 Issue

Hi, first of all sorry for my bad English. I've just received my brand new 17mm 1.8 and i realized some kind of "malfunctioning" Here are the steps: 1: Set the camera in MF mode 2: put the lens focus ring in AF position 3: try to focus an object as close as possible 4: put the lens focus...

    New Oly 9mm pancake...grrrrrr

If only it had a little bit faster aperture... I don't think I'll be able to shoot hand-held at night as I do with the Samyang 7.5mm f3.5, and that makes me stick with the 7.5

Which lens next? Olympus 17mm 1.8 or Panasonic 25mm 1.4

I would keep the 12-50, sell the 14mm 2.5 and buy the 17mm 1.8 Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

    E-M1/E-M5...Sorted

Owning an E-M5 for one year, and thinking in how much I paid for it and how much would I get if I sell it today, it's absolutely not worth to think in "moving" to the E-M1 And I still prefer the smaller size and weight of the E-M5, and the silver color of the body... If You Could Have Only 2 Lenses...

I'm very happy with the 17mm 2.8 and the 12-50 I've one small lens for walk around, low light and street photography, and the other one is for landscapes, travels, macro and shooting under the rain I want to sell the 17mm 2.8 for the 1.8, that's all and actually I don't need anymore Sent...

    One lens only

Why you want an only single lens kit? I'm travelling and sometimes I feel too limited with only my 17mm 1.8 so I carry the 12-50 on the bag and I use it quite a lot 40mm equivalent only is too limiting try to take picture of a building... Enviado desde mi GT-N7000 usando Tapatalk 4

Don't worry, I understand you and I know that sometimes I make funny mistakes trying to write in English. I wrote "lime" because in Spanish "lime" means "lima" and a "lima" in Spanish can be both a fruit or a file for metal. Sometimes I use the dictionary before writing but that...

OMD - Need some Advice Image Clarity/Quality

F8-10 gives you a DOF equivalent in 35mm of f16-20. It's useful to achieve focus easily with legacy lenses or MF. But the native lenses give their best IQ around f5.6 and the diffraction starts under that aperture Correct me if I'm wrong
