    Lack of excitement about GH3?

    I received mine several weeks ago too, and just purchased the 25mm F1.4 two days ago. Haven't had too much time to play with it yet, and the weather hasn't been cooperating. Now saving up for the rest of the lenses in Kiwi Paul's arsenal in the previous post, minus the 12-35 lens.

    what do we need/want?

    For lenses, all I really "need" is the 7-14mm for tight volleyball gyms, but the "want" side of me is going to eventually budget for the 25mm summilux, the 12-35mm, the 35-100mm and the 100-300mm. :(

    Suggestions for SLIM m4/3 backpack?

    Man, that would be the absolute perfect backpack for me if it only had the tripod cinch from the Flipside Sport grrrr. I might just go with the Clik Elite Compact Sport if my Asus Transformer Prime will fit in it. Don't like how the camera access isn't pickpocket proof though.

    I preordered with a refundable deposit due to the uncertainty of sufficient quantities available upon release. Are you saying it's probable that the 12-35mm kit won't be available at launch? That's unfortunate if it's the case. :mad:

    Don't have any kit yet, but will be getting these eventually for the GH3: 7-14mm for weddings, landscapes and volleyball. 45-175mm PZ (or 35-100mm) for nature and volleyball. 25mm prime for weddings and street use. Should the 12-35mm replace the 25mm prime for my usage?

    Thanks for the replies! Will the kit lens options be available at the same time as the release of the body, or do they usually come later? I have the GH3 preordered, but probably should hold out for a package to get one of these lenses at a reduced cost.
