    Visiting friends in the Piney Woods of EastTexas (Reklaw, Texas) and several years ago I caught a glimps of one of these but never a pic as I was in a Deer blind. A camera is just too much to carry along with everything else you need to hunt. These birds are really skiddish and seldom spotted...

This Memorial was erected by the Grand Lodge of Texas AF&AM in 1936 at the San Jacinto Battlegrounds as "A tribute to the fidelity of Pioneer Masons under whose outstanding leadership was laid the Corner Stone of the Republic of Texas"...

    Terrible day for photography, just as I was pulling into the area I saw a pole bending. By the time I pulled up and got my camera out he had landed the fish and was walking to his cooler to put it away. Pretty nice Drum !!!

    Formally Ellington AFB, now Pasadena Municipal Airport, but still has a Air National Guard unit there. BTW Pasadena is a suburb of Houston, Texas.
