    Sensor cleaning kit recommendations

I live in the middle of nowhere here in France. My nearest camera shop is some way away, and as it is harvest season I find myself with some dust on my sensor that needs removing. Can anyone recommend a cleaning kit that's available from Amazon UK or FR? There seem to be a myriad of options but...

    Bees !

I've been doing some research on that lens, it seems a well-regarded beast, though! What mount is yours, and what adaptor do you use it with?

    Bees !

Ah, that makes sense then, as I think your 'bee' may actually be a soldier fly, Stratiomys longicornis - not that this detracts from the beauty of the beast, nor the skill of the photographer, I can assure you!!

Another bee, cross-posted already in the insects thread. This is an Amegilla albigena, a solitary bee that digs a tunnel for its eggs. I've tried a few different things besides the colour processing here to see what people think, would love some feedback. It's tentatively titled.... ....the...

    Appreciation for Amin!

I have to jump in with this as well - I've only been here a year or so but it is by far one of the nicest, friendliest, most entertaining and informative photography sites there is. Thank you. And as they say in France, Merci beaucoup to all the people who have helped me here the past 12 month...

    Selective Color

I used to do quite a bit of this when I had a Canon P&S, but I always longed for the ability to do more than one colour on a selected subject. I recently discovered a way to do this though with the software I have (I do not have PS), and I've been playing a bit since. The Survivor G6 + 14-140 mki

    Bags and more bags

I was fortunate enough to get a Vanguard Havana 21 for my birthday recently. It's not the most glamorous or well-regarded make out there, but it's the first real camera bag I have ever had apart from the old fashioned boxy shoulder bags from the 80's. I do not have a serious amount of 4/3 kit...

At work at a nearby house yesterday when the verbena bush by the gate attracted a couple of Macroglossum stelletarum (Hummingbird hawk-moth). I only had the P14-140 mki in the car but still managed a few shots. They're not great in IQ terms but it was fun to try and get something useable. I...

Definitely time to revisit LED lighting then, Mark. There are a huge range of lights available now, with many different tints to choose from in LED emitter choice, and some of the newer lights have infinite ramping, so one can go from zero-moonlight to full blast, as you wish. Yes, been to your page a long time ago after you pointed it to me over Flickr. I am now a long-term 'stick' user too, thanks to you. That one single tip was the best bit of macro advice I have ever found - thank you for that. Lighting is what it is all about, for sure. I'm still on that road...

Gee, thanks Mark.... just when I think I’m getting somewhere on this macro journey you have to post some more photos to remind me how far I have yet to travel....sigh Brilliant set. Are you still using the O60 and an achromat ? I can’t see your exit this end.
